Imagine in a time when you are bombarded with negative news and thoughts, that you could be that voice of change.
Think of the story of David and Goliath. David did not let his size stop him or the fact that his numbers were small. He tried. He grabbed hold of his opportunity and ran with it.
Take me for example, I have techy skills and access to loads of information at my finger tips. I have been sleeping to some, to others busy in a different world. It is never to late to take up the torch again. To speak out (even if the words are not your own), to write again, to sing with the beauty that surrounds us if we just stop — and look.
Do we have to be perfect. NEVER, do one is. Someone will always have an opinion and that is their opinion. And none of our business (Wise words I heard)
WHY, I am coming back to life again, you may wonder. Well a friend, Helen Vanderberge, simply put a thought in my mind. The thought turned a key. The key reopened what I already knew how to do. Mind you, a few things had changed, and I was rusty at some, so it seemed. But the key is, I AM back.
She shared an idea that triggered another idea. She asked for my brief thoughts on how to get through this challenging times. She was planning to put together a book (Ebook) from all the inspiring and encouraging thoughts she was receiving. And BOOM – she and her team, pulled it all together. Here we are with the ebook READY TO RISE It hit #1 on Amazon in the first week.
For me, I was still coming to understand that others were inspired by my words. I was PUBLISHED. Like really. In a book!
Funny, as I was Ok doing facebook lives or having a website and creating blogs. They are also a form of PUBLISHING, just a little more modern than the turn of the century – written book.
So my goal for the next 30+ days is to share their words, thoughts and insights with whoever my audience reaches.
I believe that as we help one another to see hope, and belief in themselves they too will find the light of opportunity, of change for the best.
As I write this, I am envisioning my hand reaching back to others to pull them up until they are ready to shine and help others.
