However, as more people than ever start using video conferencing tools, doing it professionally can really make you stand out. Here’s a few tips to help you shine online.
- If on camera – choose your location carefully (no piles of laundry in the background)!
- Plan your content – don’t ‘wing it’
- Have one key outcome for your webinar – is the aim to educate, sell or invite to a call?
- Start with a story & grab and hold your audience’s attention
- Maintain a conversational tome – no one likes a lecture
- Choose powerful images for your slides (not too busy with words – no one reads them)!
- Use interesting real facts and examples to support your message
- Remember that your voice is the connection – vary your tone, pace, and volume for more engagement.
- Practice, practice, practice!
