“Take back control of your life instead of letting life control you.” – Naomi Martell-Bundock
In times of crisis, we “rise” to the challenge – whatever that may be.
If you have a clearer focus and get a lot done, that’s useful, but what if you feel worry or panic? Stress hormones coursing unchecked through our systems runs us down, resulting in being a little cranky or feeling low. We might still be delivering high output, but somehow, we’re slightly off the mark. (Hopefully someone who loves you, maybe yourself, will highlight this quickly!)
Whether you’re been extra focused or anxious, your body and mind need to rest and recuperate so that you can find a sustainable way to be.
-Pause – Stop! – Breathe – Deeply breathe – Repeat — Pause – Stop! – Breathe – Deeply breathe – Repeat –
Conscious breathing helps in minutes. Makes it central to your self-care routine.
Practice it twice during the day and in bed at night.
Once you are calm take a moment. a long moment, and consciously choose what you want now.
- What’s your aim?
- What will it do for you?
- How do you want to feel generally?
From this centred point, enjoy your conscious action.
