There is nothing I have to do to be valuable and worthwhile. I just have to be. I’ve discovered: Who I am is more than enough, Even when I procrastinate. Even when I make mistakes. Even when I fail.
Failure is just a label we put on ourselves. Despite the outcome, we are a success for attempting and risking. What other labels and beliefs do you need to shed that are holding you back? Beliefs like “I’m worthless, “The world is scary” or “I don’t deserve”. Let them all go! Forgive yourself!
God acts through us. You are the one that can give a smile. You are the one that can visit the sick. You are the one with the infectious laugh. You are the one with the calming effect. You are the one with the great insight.
My purpose is to express God as only I can. And God needs you to serve the world as only you can. As long as we have breath in our bodies, we are needed, valuable and important to the mosaic of the universe. As Rickie Byars says in her song “Use Me”, the world needs us to shine. Be perfectly you.
